Please make sure that when you book an appointment you confirm your details via my booking system, Fresha


If you haven’t confirmed your appointment within 48hrs of booking your appointment, it will be automatically cancelled


If you are ever unable to confirm your appointment please let me know as soon as possible


Fresha will ask for card details during the confirmation process, which is completely secure (please see the statement below). However you will not be charged for booking until the end of your appointment, but this ensures that your appointment is reserved, and not allocated to anyone else


'At Fresha, we take security very seriously. Your data is your data (not ours) and will not be shared with anyone or any third parties. All user data is securely backed-up every 5 minutes on Fresha’s encrypted cloud database, our system uses SSL security and our hardware has top of the range firewalls'


If you do not currently get reminder text messages,  please feel free to send me your mobile number so that I can add it to the system and you can confirm appointments via your phone


 Whilst I understand emergencies happen, please may I ask that if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Please ensure you notify me via email, text message or phone call. 


A cancellation with 48 hours (or less) notice will be  charged 50% of the treatment cost. 


A cancellation with 24 hours (or less) notice will be  charged 100% of the treatment cost. 

Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash


No shows will be charged 100% of the treatment cost, and will not be booked again 


If you do not pay the cancellation fee then your future  appointments will be cancelled and you will not be able to book any future appointments until the fee is  paid



Late arrivals have a huge impact on my day and later appointments, so please ensure you arrive at your appointment on time, if you are more than 10 minutes late with no message your appointment will be classified as a no-show and you will subsequently be charged 100% off your treatment cost


Due to health & safety regulations I am unable to accommodate children and pets in the salon, as there are  sharp tools, and chemicals in regular use. Please consider making child care arrangements when you  book your treatment. Please also note that there are age limits for the treatments that I offer such as waxing and facials. 


For your own health and safety, you will be required to  participate in a patch test 48 hours prior to your  tinting/lash lifting treatment. You will be required to undertake a new patch test should you have a  change in circumstance (e.g. pregnancy) and again  if you have not been tinted for 6 months. This policy  applies to all clients, even if you have had a patch test in a different salon  


For your comfort and safety please notify your therapist prior to your treatment if you have any medical conditions (such as  epilepsy, diabetes, pregnancy etc) or  you are prescribed medication, as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.  


Prior to your appointment you will be asked to complete a client questionnaire, please ensure you complete this questionnaire accurately and declare your full health history and medication.  


If you have any changes to your health history (such as an increase in medication) please let me know straight away. 


 If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during the treatment, please alert your service provider immediately 


Your satisfaction will always be my highest priority, if you are not completely content with your treatment please let me know during your treatment or within 24 hours of your service being performed.  I will endeavour to make any necessary corrections, or where applicable a refund may be offered 


Skin by Charlotte has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated, or if their state of health may negatively impact the service


Gift vouchers have a 6 month expiry date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Gift vouchers can be redeemed against treatments and retails items. Any vouchers given to fundraisers / charity by Skin by Charlotte cannot be redeemed for a cash alternative


Skin by Charlotte cannot be held accountable for damage or loss to personal possessions. Please ensure if you bring any valuable items with you they are kept somewhere safe (such as in your handbag)
